Hi,
Bought a SIM7000G along with the Shield for Arduino.
Also got the Hologram SIM card and activated it. I know 100% the SIM card works because it works in a phone that I installed it in.
Using the Arduino (with LTE_Demo program), SIM7000g, Shield, antenna, and Hologram SIM card, I am unable to connect to the network. When using the 'n' command I get: "Network status 2: Not registered (searching)". When using the 'i' command it shows: "RSSI = 99: -115 dBm".
Any troubleshooting tips for this?
Thanks!

Have you tried looking at this wiki page, especially the AT+CNMP=38 command?

Thanks for the response. I do finally get a connection now that I went through the troubleshooting tips, but it looks like I lose connection whenever I try to send a text message.
It looks like it may be the Battery. I do not have one at the moment, but will order. In the meantime, is there a way to power the shield with an external power supply?

I resolved the issue. It was indeed the lack of a battery that was causing the issue.
A power supply can be attached to the battery input without any issue.
